I recently played through this game for my blog (link in sig), and I was wondering if anyone was familiar with it. It's official title is Spider-Man: The Video Game, arcade exclusive from Sega in 1991
It's one of the oddest Spider-Man games and oddest brawlers I've ever played. Is it has a cool mechanic where the screen zooms out and gameplay switches to a mild sort of platforming. These parts aren't fun, but it's a cool effect. Is anyone aware of any other instances like this in a brawler? I don't mean like Batman Returns (SNES) or anything... but something more seamless. The Avengers brawler had something similar... gameplay seamlessly switches to shmup style segments every so often.
Anyways, if you've ever played it, chime in with your thoughts!
