Konami requesting Skullgirls be removed from PSN and XBLA
Re: Konami requesting Skullgirls be removed from PSN and XBL
That game died out so quickly after it's initial 2 week hypestorm in my region. I always hated the artwork and thought the engine for it was based on repetitive combo exchanges and set ups. Apparently most people seem to agree with that assessment, and despite using GGPO as a base for it's netcode, it still sucked to play online.
Final verdict from this guy: Won't miss it.

Worst case scenario is the game gets taken down and comes back up in January.
Konami basically pulled the rug out from underneath the developers, they just have to get some stuff resubmitted.
Acting like it's going away for good is misleading.

Exactly! And mind you, right on the heels of Lab Zero having tried to get in contact with Konami with respects to patching the game with absolutely no reply back. Instead they pull this shit without even giving any notice to the developer. That's fucked up!
