Deadpool

Post by Gamerforlife »

Talk about mixed reviews, a couple 8s, a few 6s, a 5, a few 3 out of 5s, and a 2 out of 5.

I'm curious about this one

I played a good amount of it already, and if you know what to expect from it, it is great. Its full of toilet humor, foul language, girls, and self-awareness, but my Wife and I were laughing the whole time. The combat is like God of war/DMC/Batman Arkham series, and controls well, but can be on the difficult side sometimes. Dont let the regenerating health fool you, you will die a lot. If you are a fan of the character, then you will be very happy with how they handled this game, sure its not going to be game of the year, but it is worth a rent at least.

I'm actually quite intrigued by this one. Basically, it's on the "when it hits like $20" list at this point for me.

Watched around the first twenty minutes of "gameplay".

What an incredibly irritating looking game from every aspect imaginable.

It reminded me of the Wolverine game quite a bit.

It reminded me of The Punisher game...a lot.

Didn't remind me of the comic character at all besides the dual personality. I swear the character is actually funny and witty in the comic.

I'm not a DP knowledge base, but I never knew he could teleport. Is that the case? He can TP in the game, and I know "Deadpool" (quotes emphasized) could TP in the horrible... horrible... Wolverine Origins movie, but I always thought his deal was his healing factor, and insanity.

It's a teleportation device, not a mutant power. But yes, he has had it in Marvel stuff for awhile.
