nintendo DS lite sold out...

at least in osaka, though more than likely all over japan. the systems are now being sold like crazy on japanese auction sites (about 2000+ systems) for an average 25,000 yen as compared to their retail price of 16,800 yen (that's about $214US VS. $144US) - curse the capitalists!

hehe -- the demand for any DS over there is probably fairly high -- and the Lite just makes it worse

I can't wait til it hits the States -- I'm asking my wife for one for either our Anniversary (July) or my birthday (August)

I was going to get one. Unfortunately i can't justify it due to how little i play my original DS! I can't afford to get games for it right now.

EDIT: WEHEY! 16-BIT! I wonder if the next one is 24-bit? I think the question is, rather, how big of a fan of the NEOGEO is racketboy? Hmmm
