There are two now.

The Mega Everdrive Pro is pretty new but the Mega SG has been around about a year.

Thanks for the links. If I understand these correctly, you don't even need the Sega CD attached to the Genesis provided you have a bios?

Yep. They're basically flash carts for the Genesis that can boot Sega CD games, no Sega CD hardware required.

Thanks for the help, guys. I guess these carts will relegate the Sega CD module into fancy cup holders attached to your Genesis! lol

Well, you can't use them to play any CD/32X games. I guess it's because they can't emulate the Sega CD while plugged into a 32X and/or loading a 32X game. So you'll have to keep your Sega CD around for now, if that's something you care about.

I swear I posted about this somewhere, but must've been a different thread.

Anyway, you know I ordered one. It just seemed so versatile, if a bit pricey.
I'll be using it for a Dreamcast, but the Saturn option may come in handy one day.

You know what would be cool? If I could easily unplug it from the Dreamcast and easily plug it into the Saturn and vice versa. Like, if you replaced the optical drive in each console with an interface, and then the "brains" of the ODE was a modular piece that you could easily swap between consoles. THAT I would be interested in, being one less ODE that I want to buy.

Professor Abrasive's Saturn ODE, the Satiator, is looking like it will materialize soon. The first 100 units went into production last week. Assuming there are no issues, the next production run will be much larger.
