Telltale Games Fables: The Wolf Among Us
As a fan of the Fables comic books(and similary themed Once Upon a Time TV show), I'm curious to see what they do with this. I thought The Walking Dead games were overrated, but they were still fundamentally good games, and I enjoyed some of the Sam & Max games too. So I think Telltale can deliver something great here

I'm really looking forward to this game. I love the comics, and seeing the way they handled the Walking Dead series, I trust that they'll do Fable justice as well. The choice mechanic also sounds like it'll provide a lot of re-playability.

This article sheds a lot of light on the various aspects that Telltale is going to include in the game.
The Wolf Among Us: Telltale Is Back Again To Torment With Tough Choices
One of the things I took away from it was that you'll be able to make a choice between locations that you'll end up in. For example, if you choose to go to one place over another, it won't prevent a set of events in the other location from occuring; rather, they'll continue on without your involvement, which means that they'll be a lot of different ways for the story to unfold.

It seems if you pre-order the PC version, you will get a collector's DVD of all 5 episodes after they are released. It seems like today's the release date, but they're still taking pre-orders

I'm not familiar with the comics, but Telltale is great.

You like Once Upon a Time right? Fables is a similar concept, though the stories are a little darker and more serious. I think this game is a prequel, so you might be able to jump right in to the story

I hope she caught the Once Upon a Time in Wonderland series premiere last night. I really enjoyed it. She probably would too.

Okay, looks like the pre order period is over as of today. I got an email that I can download the game, and you get a DRM free copy AND a Steam key. Awesome!

for the most part, neither of us really watch shows "live." She just DVR's all her shows and watches them when she has time. But Once is a show she stays pretty current with so I'm sure she'll see that one soon.
