Maybe it's satisfying on an instinctual level. Before civilized society became prominent, I'm sure everyone had to defend their homes.

Anomaly Korea is a perfect fit for touch controls. I wasn't enthralled by its PC predecessor but on Android it's just swell.

I could not get into Defense Grid or Plants vs Zombie, but Kingdom Rush is right at my spot. Ive not 100%ed the original, but I am one map away from doing so on Frontiers. Sadly Frontiers is not on Steam yet, so only played on my phone.
