I'm still on the fence regarding this modern sequel, but I guess it's encouraging that the original authors are back for the soundtrack.

I can't believe they didn't stick with Giana Sisters's original formula, which was Super Mario Bros's original formula, and made us fall in love with the original Giana Sisters and Super Mario Bros back in the day.

Shitstorm incoming?!

IDK it looks like a neat game to me. Doesn't look anything like a Super Mario Bros. clone anymore, which is... a good thing?

I'd like to try the game. It looks pretty in a screenshot, I'm just afraid it will fall into my too much graphical detail for a platformer category.

I played the hell out of this game on the Commodore 64! I should pick up the new reboots and take a look...

A kickstarter game that's actually released and playable? First one for me. Haven't had the time to buy it yet, any thoughts? It looks aboslutely stunning and the game play gimmick looks neat as the music is in sync with the gameplay.

Machinae Supremacy helped with the soundtrack of the game https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Km3xn1bsBQI

This looks awesome to me but I don't think Chris Huelsbeck does the music...

Composer(s) Chris Hülsbeck, Machinae Supremacy, Fabian Del Priore
Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams brings back the composer of the original Great Giana Sisters, Chris Hülsbeck, along with the Swedish heavy metal band Machinae Supremacy and Fabian Del Priore who also worked on Giana Sisters DS.[2]

The music is one of the key features of Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams, flowing seamlessly between Hülsbeck's original compositions and Del Priore's arrangements into Machinae Supremacy's heavy metal rendition of the soundtrack. This is achieved by having both soundtracks layered and played at the same time, and changing when the switch button is pressed.[4]
