Is this Sega Saturn Auction Good Value?

I'm in the market for a Sega Saturn, but after three years of collecting in the wild I've never actually even seen one. The other day I came across this auction on eBay, that includes the console and relevant cables, two controllers and 20 boxed games that most have manuals for. Here are the games:

Alien Trilogy
Area 51
Blam! Machine Head
Daytona USA
Digital Pinball (no case)
Doom
F1 Challenge
Fighters Megamix
Gex
Hardcore 4x4
Hexen
Manx TT Super Bike
NHL Powerplay
Panzer Dragoon 2
Pebble Beach Golf Links
Revolution X
Road Rash
Sega Rally
Street Fighter Alpha
Street Fighter Alpha 2
Tomb Raider (no manual)
Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3
Worms

Currently the bid is sitting at $305, and ends tomorrow morning. It includes free postage around Aussieland.
I really know nothing about the real value of these things, so I'm wondering what you guys think?

Not sure of the Saturn market in AU but in the US about $300 would be absolute tops for that in my opinion. Did you say if the console was boxed and complete? How used is it? Doesn't seem like too much of a bargain to me...

Of course maybe the Daytona is the Netlink version hahaha then def buy.

Hey,

The only games in that auction I personally enjoyed playing on my Saturn was Panzer Dragoon 2. The only other one on that list I don't have and would want is Alien Trilogy.

There's a few on that list I own and don't really enjoy (such as Gex and Daytona), can be obtained elsewhere more cheaply (for instance I have the PC version of Hexen, and the Saturn port of Doom was panned by critics everywhere.)

Are you getting these cause you want to play them, or for collection purposes? If you're after the most fun and memorable Saturn games this lineup looks weak to me.

Not boxed but the Saturn market here is terrible.
Mostly to play, but also to review. I would love to review this period of Sega :D
Plus 20 boxed Saturn games on my shelf would look damn fine, but that's not the leading reason for me wanting them.

Pass on it dude! Being in Australia you could easily import a Japanese Saturn and a ton of great games for less than $300.

Good point. The bid just went over $350 anyway, and that's definitely more than I want to pay!

Have you ruled out a mod chipped saturn? I've seen a few for sale in the BST section here. I own one myself and quite like it.

I'd love to buy from here since the prices are quite fair, but the postage always kills the deal. I live too far away :(
