Question about selling games as ebay lots / individual items

by Caleb Mon Apr 08, 2013 10:09 am

I know the general rule is that you sell the less sought after video games as lots to increase the chance of someone buying them.

However as I am going through my collection I have a large number of new factory sealed games that might sell as individual items. Would the dubious value of having a game in the factory seal be enough to have them sell?

For example I got 4 gamecube games here new and factory sealed:
Ultimate Spiderman
Batman Begins
Wave Race Blue Storm
Virtua Striker 2002

Also 4 xbox games new and factory sealed
Kingdom under Fire Heroes
Crazy Taxi 3
Jade Empire
King of Fighters 02 03

Now should I just put these as two lots of games or try to sell them off individually?

Or should I focus on having the lots be in a specific genre?

Any advice would be welcome.

I don't know about the Xbox games, but none of the Gamecube games you've got are hard to find AFAIK, so I would just sell them as a lot.

Yeah, I'd sell the GCN as a lot. The Xbox titles are more sought after (comparatively), so maybe sell them one auction at a time.

Thanks.

I was leaning towards lots.

I will have to set up most of the auctions that way. My huge collection of Gamecube stuff should have been sold a long time ago.

OK then I might list some of the complete stuff in the Buy Sell Trade section for a bit before I ebay it.
