That is the PAL version. Yes, the PAL version in box is fairly rare and very high in demand, probably due to the shit-ton of fakes in Europe. That is a sealed copy you listed.

Since my console will play both PAL and NTSC versions I'm less bothered about that. Sealed usually means genuine however

Boy I'm happy I bought this game new when it came out. Though I've been playing it for 5 years and still haven't beaten it xD

I remember when FF VI hit the bargain bin! At $15 bucks a pop I knew I should have loaded up.

Got a nice Legend of Zelda LttP/Four Swords counterfeit last night. Can't say I'm surprised--the cart feels cheap, doesn't fit all the way in the console. It's functionable, but I'm not impressed.

I've seen a bootleg with a number stamped into the cart!

FFVI cart with

stamped into the cart. Inside it was a bogus cart.
