Someone got lucky,since ebay is known for inflation probably no one was looking to buy this there.Its a rare occasion I passed on a mint copy for $175 months back and sorta should of bought it.Anyways this happens with alot of patience and hawking/sniping it can be done.

I bought my last two copies (one in the posession of mjmjr25 ) for under $160 each. One of the copies was 8.5/10 and the other mint. It just takes a little patience.

I sent a message to that guy who won and he said he was really taking a shot in the dark and he bid on it thinking it was wrong but it turned out to be right and everything was in good condition minus the case which he just swapped out. He's a lucky bastard!

It just takes lots of patience and luck. I did something similar with Shenmue 2 PAL for Dreamcast. I got a case, books, and the first 3 discs for a very low price off of someone here (it was a long while ago). Since I was only interested in having it to play, I burned the 4th disc and went on my way.

A couple weeks ago I saw a buy it now on ebay for $15 to get the case, books and discs 3 & 4. So now I have an extra disc 3 and an extra albeit damaged case for no more than $40 shipped, probably less since I forgot what I got the first part for.

Moral is, sometimes you can find incomplete copies of stuff for a fraction of the price, if you are willing to wait I'm sure you'll complete the editions later. I've done this with cart only games like Mega Man X, Ocarina of Time, Conkers BFD, Mario 3, etc and aquired the boxes later that people were either throwing out or selling cheap to get rid of.
