Candy Cabs in the Midwest (Wi / Min)

by mjmjr25 Sat May 17, 2014 8:37 pm

Greetings,

Cdamm of Windy Gaming is bringing in another container. If you are in MN or WI and want a cab, i'm trying to make it make sense to get a u-haul and pick up mine and maybe drop off yours for a share of the u-haul rental and gas. Post or pm if interested:

I'd love a Neo Geo Red, but I doubt that'd come down the pipeline since you mentioned candy. My folks are in SE WI so let me know.

He hasn't listed prices yet - it'll depend on what he pays the distributor, then his costs of importing them.

The Blasts were $950 last time and the NAC's slightly less iirc. He's thinking $1,100 or slightly more on the EII's, but demand is high on those, I think he said he's got (10) coming in and I think i've got 2 of those claimed, a few others have expressed interest as well. E3's would be less, probably about $950-1,000, I believe he's trying to get a few of those as well.

His idea is to be able to stock them in his store - but it seems they'll keep getting scooped up the day they arrive in stock due to the huge vacuum of available cabs in the midwest (and the South).

Well it is 14 hours each way for me to get up there and I am tempted at that price. The next best is 24 hours each way to Utah...

He'll drive 300 miles (for a fee), but that still won't do it for you.

If you get more than (1), Uship can be a huge saver - can do (2) for about $300 to you. They previously quoted me $290 for 2 cabs from Orlando to me, so i'd think it would safely be under $300 for you over a much shorter distance.

We would drive it and just make a vacation out of it. We have some friends who live in Minneapolis we would go see.
