I missed out on the first one, and it showed up on ebay immediately with a higher price. I'm not sure that any collectors really got it though, as it seems like "scalpers" are the ones that bought it just to re-sell.

It will likely be the same this go 'round.

I'm with Bone, I'll pick up the standard "Limited Edition" with soundtrack for $40 when it hits.

I almost hate buying expensive collector's editions, because then I never want to open them, so I can't play the game. I end up owning a loose copy of the game just to play it.

I didn't really like the first game and gave up on it fairly early (which is odd because I liked the other Tales games I've played) so I'll probably pass on this game completely. More curious about Tales of Zestiria myself.

There were MAJOR problems with the first Xillia that I ended up hating so much and it really showed (though I did get 100% in Xillia on PSN Trophies). While I will get Xillia 2 since I heard they made this because they were rushed with the first one and wanted to expand on it more. I've also pre-orded the collector's edition because I can. I like them and will have them. I have brought the CE of both Xillia and Symphonia and will do it for this one.

However, I'm more pumped about Tales of Hearts R for the Vita coming out then Xillia 2 to be honest.

More curious about Tales of Zestiria myself.

Whhhhhaaaatttttt. Hadn't even heard of this until now. It's apparently not even out in Japan yet so it'll be awhile until we see it.

I almost think there are too many of these games as it is. If anything I would rather see the more of the handheld Tales games get localized.

My biggest fear for Zestiria is that it is set to be released around the 20th anniversary for the Tales series. When Xillia had that during the 15th anniversary you could tell the game was rushed because of the set date. I'm praying that Zestiria won't have that.

hmmm do I buy the regular edition new at launch or wait a while for a price drop? It is a very late PS3 release JRPG but I havn't even opened my Tales of Xillia 1 yet...
