Zeno Clash is a marvelously pretty game. It's a shame it's so repetitive, considering it's only 3-4 hours long. I'm holding out for ACE Team to release a fully fleshed out sequel, maybe along the lines of Dark Messiah... I still need to try Rock of Ages, though.

Not gonna get this bundle, none of the other games really interest me. But Zeno Clash is definitely recommended if you have an eye for design.

I also heartily recommend Zeno Clash. It's a rare instance of first person brawling working really well, and the environments and characters in its strange world are simply amazing to experience. The only weak point of the game for me was in the shooting segments, which just weren't as expertly done as the fist fights.

It appears that they weren't quite ready for the amount of traffic they would receive though, so the site is temporarily down. The only one of these games I have played is The Ball, which is a pretty cool first person physics puzzler. It's sort of like if Tomb Raider had a Gravity Gun used to play Marble Madness in puzzles created by GlaDOS... I guess.

^ The "Be Mine" bundle is working now, though a little late for Valentine's. Oh well. It's a good deal, plus you get some music by Fantomenk, Celldweller, and Damage Vault to go with it. If they make their $100,000 goal, you'll get even more.

I eventually got the Be Mine bundle despite how broken the website is.

I've played a little of Sideway: New York and Xotic now.

Sideway is very stylish. It's a side scrolling platformer where you are now graffiti, so you are always stuck to the wall, so if you turn the corner, the camera angle rotates to show you on the next wall. It has a pretty good hip hop soundtrack and some clever gameplay ideas that take advantage of the 'living graffiti" graphics.

Xotic is what I would term an OCD FPS. It's all about collecting, killing everything, and trying to do so quickly. There are tons and tons of little collectable orbs and mechanics for getting scoring chains. Though you are moving forward in a storyline, the game is mostly about getting high scores, chains, and achieving 100% completion goals for each level. It's designed in a way so that the collecting flows and stays fast paced, which makes it reasonably entertaining, though I often find such tasks to be a bit tedious. It has really floaty controls, which are appropriate for the spacey setting, but some might be turned off by that.

Your payment helps fund the games' further development and grants you free access to the later releases, as well as their current alpha states.

I'm more leary of this bundle, and the alpha payment model in general. It worked for Minecraft, so it's not that you can't get a great alpha product and fund its further development. I just feel like a sucker for buying an unfinished product that I'm never 100% guaranteed will be finished. Nevertheless, if you're feeling charitable towards these developers, you can play their early builds of the games now. I do think Wyv & Keep actually looks pretty cool, but I'm still not sure I want to take the plunge on this bundle personally.
