Same with a few others like their 4 arcade classics packs for SGB where you could get Galaga/Galaxian on one, Defender/Joust on another, MIssile Command/Asteroids on another, and Super Breakout/Battlezone on a fourth. Later they would re-issue these too on the GBC format, some being GBC only and expanding on it with Paperboy, Klax, Spy Hunter/Moon Patrol, and others. The 8bit GB has a pretty solid heritage of old arcade favorite re-release packages.

You’re killing me girlracer! I’m trying to wrap up my 3DS collection, and I haven’t had a find like that in a while? Where’d you get them?

$75 - Goodwill of all places. I've bumped into 2-3 in the last few years, all same priced, all were a bare unit with not one accessory or piece included. The eyes on it are messed up, common glue failure so it's going out to a facebook buddy for repair that in the end will set me back another $60 in two ways of shipping priority mail medium flat rate and labor/supplies which is more than fair.

This thing was roached up pretty badly with blockbuster stickers on every single thing, worse were the white file stickers on the bottoms of the game labels which jacked them up a little on removal. The battery box had blown out batteries but I was able to clean it out and it wasn't eaten into. The surprising thing are the boxed games, oddly none have manuals, but the stand out is that Mario Tennis for display only box I'm guessing blockbuster shrink wrapped for the rental shelf and it's almost spotless and I"m told it's worth more than what I have into the bundle. :D

I just wish it had a stand, going to either buy an OEM one or a recently produced after market option that's built to the same specs. Also will be looking to add a flashboy+ to it as well for all those fun protos and homebrew among other things.

It's rare when I find something fantastic, but when I do I'll share it.

What gets me is this is the same space that I got some other crazy hits out or or at least really cheap nice things. The closest goodwill was the one a few years back where a cheap DC bundle, a cheap N64 bundle, $500+ in Legos for $15, and other nutty stuff popped from. But since that time, and this is/was the store that likes to grossly over price systems and games for ($5-10 for a 2600 cart, $55 for Mario Kart GC has been sitting there 2mo so far, etc) I've picked up nice things.

A week ago 4 3DS games complete for $2 each (Sonic Boom, Tomodatchi, Pokemon Omega Ruby, Scribblenauts DC hero game, a year ago Warcraft 2 for PS1 ($40 game) for $3 in the CD rack, about 4 mo back a sealed Pokemon Red for $100 (values around 300-500 last I looked.) I used to hate that one but did it out of habit, now it's like a reviled favorite I visit once a week.

And now that VB bundle, and later today for that repair I mentioned and a solder fixed VB is worth $200-300 on ebay so I'm still well within a good space. :D

I just need to source a stand for it, and a flashboy plus. I'll buy a few more super cheap US/JP titles for it as I don't like going kit only.

If you're curious about that Pokemon, here's one view of it:

Picked up Panzer Dragoon Zwei and Xmen Children of the Atom for the US Saturn for 13 each. Both are CIB and have a little damage to the case (Xmen case a broken hinge, sadly.) I also got 3 issues of the Toonami comics from 99' for about 15. Spent ~42 total, super happy.

Had a cracker of a visit to a opshop, I got the Xbox stuff two days ago and I thought I will pop back in today and see if they had any more xbox stuff, but they did not, they had these ripper gamecube games.

Everything was $2 a piece.

Uhh this thread is getting pretty entertaining on this page. Meh on the xbox stuff, but still $2 for those is nice, but Fire Emblem for $2 is like unheard of.
