Intercourse for the non-reproductive purposes is really fucking wise. Abstinence can't generally be healthy for marriages.

I don't see collecting for the sake of collecting pointless. I do however see it as a very addictive, and expensive if you collect without a focus.

I used to want to collect everything and still kind of do, but I reined my habit in by making myself choose only one game to keep from each hunt and selling the rest. I do however cheat on that rule if I find something I really really want though :P.

Amen to that! I am on a giant FMV game hunt as of right now, because those games are some of the best of the worst!

Actually, if you want to reduce stress in your life it is, in fact, much wiser to have sex for pleasure rather than for children.

Yeah, I realized that after rereading it, but it was too late to change it.

I honestly only buy games that interest me, whether they are good or bad. Or if I find a game worth a lot of money for cheap, of course I'm going to buy it. But I usually buy games I intend to play.

I used to collect to collect. I enjoyed it. Now though, I just want to play games and read about games. I don't really feel the need to own tons of games anymore. Sure, some day when I have my own house with lots of space maybe I'll enjoy it again. For now though, it's not my thing.

If collecting is something you enjoy though, I don't see why it's a bad thing at all. I decided it wasn't for me but, for a lot of people here, it's something they enjoy most. In the end, that should be what matters. If you enjoy it, keep on collecting.
