Racketboy & The Forum At the Arcade

Post by Erik_Twice »

It's 2013 in Video13 an alternate world where videogames have been around for more than a hundred years. After the tragic death of famous game critic Roger Ebert, the network has been scrambling to find replacements, asking the Racketboy foundation to find their new hosts.

So who would you choose to appear in such a program to review games? Will you choose yourself? Who's your partner and why?

Given his experience in the Racketboy podcast, his dryness and inmense knowledge of games Dshenem would be a great fit but what I think he could add to the program is modern gaming. That's big controversy bucks here!

And for the softer side, why not Noiseredux? Everything is nicer with him around and he really likes games which is sure to cause some debates. He also loves Friday the 13th whih is a big selling point.

Thenthird would be HenryGik, as moderator and host. I'm too humble to add myself

Who would YOU choose?

I would have Hobie be the sidekick of whoever the main guy is. He can say "this game was terrible" to allow the main guy to shine by showing all the awesome stuff that Hobie is overlooking.

Hahahaha. Aww, man don't say that Hobie is awesome even if he hates Deus Ex =P

It's funny, every time I get an extra game on Steam I try to gift it to him, and every single time he's like "nahh, that doesn't look fun". I'm convinced he doesn't actually like anything, and I was disappointed that the "Unpopular Gaming Opinions" thread wasn't just him blogging for 10 pages.

I was wondering why you keep gifting me stuff. Now I know that it's the crap Hobie refuses to play.

I forget what the last game Popo gifted me was, but at least for the one he gave me the other day, I know I'll never play it so it is pointless for me to have it being wasted in my pile. And he did gift me DE first a few years ago. Bastard.

LOL @ Hobie as sidekick hater.

I'd like to see Inazuma return as the Angry Video Game Nerd. Low on comedy, high on bitter. Inazuma is angry in the truest sense of the word. He could do similar bits as the AVGN, but they'd just be really dark and pissed without any joviality, yet much more sex.

EDIT: Inazuma's Return or Inazuma's Revenge would be an awesome name for a video game or video game show.

Perhaps we need to branch out into a full Racketboy TV. Think about it.
