Gaming While Standing

I thought I was the only one. When I was younger I played what is now my snes with my dad. We played the shit out of DKC and actraiser. When it was my turn to play, I stood up. I never sat down. I was 4 at the time. Now though, I sit my ass on my bed. I only stand up in the heat of the game. (Like when you're out of W.coil and W.tanks and trying to fight the final form of wily and do a no death run of mega man 7.(Which actually happened to me)). That moment when I won was better than the time I beat zelda II without the infamous crouch in the corner trick. The cool thing about it is that I'm 13 .

I sit when playing consoles on the tv, but I stand and game at my MVS a lot. However, I do have a couple stools ready to take a load off for those longer sessions...

I stand while playing physically active Wii games like Wii Sports Resort, or Samba De Amigo. THat's about it though.

I can never stand and play games unless I'm physically moving a lot in the game. When I stand for long periods of time I start to feel light headed.

I do some games while standing, mostly arcade styled titles. But I do have an old wiimote for the Wii I have on my treadmill with its little screen. Ive almost beat Battlekid and Turtles on the NES while walking. Now I dont do it as often as I did a short while ago, my commute is now 2ish hours home - thank you holiday shoppers not knowing how to drive, but Ill start doing it again soon.

I make sure I get at least 30 minutes of walking or bicycling each day.

I've actually had a couple bad experiences from standing for long periods. I think it's just as risky, if not more so, than sitting. I play a lot of board games, sometimes for 10+ hours a day. After a bit, I will often stand up at the table and move around.
