It's hella fun.

^great pick for a non-fiction title. The author was on AllGenGamers a while back, and I had really been interested in reading this. BTW JT, did you hear that he buried like secret links in the text that lead to websites with fake Atari games and shit like that? Also if anyone's lazy, the audio version is narrated by Will Wheaton.

I did not know that there are secret links buried in the book, but that's awesome and totally consistent with the storyline. It's a book that almost feels like a game because you are trying to solve the riddles as well. So far, I've only read the free Kindle sample, but I intend to get the full thing and read through it. If we read it as a group, I imagine that would be even more fun.

Cool. I'll have details of the first book and schedule stuff in the next few days.

I would leisurely participate. I've read Extra Lives by Bissell and Super Mario: How Nintendo something something also.

I'd love to participate in this. I've never read any video game-related books, most I've seen seem more like video game information than anything else. I did have fun browsing through "1001 Video Games you Must Play Before You Die" while standing around Barnes and Noble.

I'd like to nominate my memoir Noise, I Hardly Knew Me as a possibility for the first book.
