1. Pokemon HeartGold (Ds) - Waiting for Ds charger to come in the mail
2. Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64) - Got to adult link, haven't finished forest dungeon
3. Shadow of the Colossus (Ps2) - Haven't started
4. Super Castlevania IV (Snes) - Got to level 3
5. Chrono Trigger (Snes) - Stuck on some cave boss from the future
6. Bastion (Pc)- Haven't started
7. Star Wars Rogue Squadron (N64) - Working through this currently
8. Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days (Ds) Waiting for Ds charger to come in the mail
9. Mega Man 2 (Gc) - Beat metal man
10. Final Fantasy 1 (psp) - Haven't started
Just an update since I've been playing a few of these regularly. I chose MM2 and FF1 as my last two games, but I doubt I can beat all of these before August 21st (When my summer ends due to college.) Working on Rogue Squadron now, got to level 7 or 8 I think. Also switching off with SCIV and MM2, both are providing an interesting challenge. I'm going to resume either OOT or Chrono Trigger once RS is beaten. Also going to complete HeartGold and KH once my ds charger comes in.
Side note on Rogue Squadron: Using the tow cable on AT-AT walkers is hard as fudge.

I'm halfway done with Panzer Dragoon Saga now. Man, am I glad I decided to beat this game! It's definitely going to be one of my top five favorite RPGs of all time.

Panzer Dragoon Saga is a very solid RPG and one of my very favorites. It has great atmosphere and a very sparse storyline that lends itself to mythology. I would have loved to see a sequel or remake on a modern system. (Panzer Dragoon Orta continues the story, but I would not count it as a true sequel since the gameplay is more similar to the first two Panzer Dragoon games.)

1. Sly Cooper (PS3 port)
2. Altered Beast (Master System)
3. Real Myst (PC)
4. Star Fox 64 (N64)
5. Sonic CD (Gamecube port)
6. Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars (PC)
7. Another World (PC)
8. The Legend of Zelda (NES)
9. Tomb Raider: Anniversary (PC)
10. Serious Sam: The First Encounter (PC)
Man, life really side tracked me a while back, kinda forgot about these forums for the past month. I did finish 3 of my ten games though. Some thoughts:
Altered Beast: I ended up playing the PSN port that I got access too when I signed up for PS+. I really loved the concept of turning to a beast, and that each level was a different beast, but my god the character / controls are so clunky. It felt like I was purposely ristricted in my movements while the enemies were not, making for some very frustrating moments where I felt like I should have been able to dodge enemies but couldn't.
Sonic CD: Ended up buying the PSN remake of this instead of playing the gamecube port. It was an enjoyable romp. As usual with sonic games, I find sonic too be too slippery, making the game more annoying then it should be in tough spots. Despite this I still enjoy those spots though. As for the remake itself, its great to have widescreen support as well as both the American and Japanese soundtracks. Not my favourite sonic game, but still very fun. I didn't bother with the special stages, as I have not played a sonic game where the special stages have been enjoyable.
Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars: I will say this right now, I don't play adventure games for the gameplay. I play for the story. So I did heavily consult a guide to get through the game. Also worth noting, I played the Directors Cut version. I really did enjoy the story in this, finding myself thinking about the game at work and wanting to know what will happen next. My one complaint is that the game pulls a bait and switch by starting you out playing as a french female reporter named Nico but not very far in switchs you over to George, an american on vaction in Europe for the rest of the game. I found Nico to be a much more interesting character then George, so I would have like to play as her more.

5.
Super Ghouls 'n' Ghosts (SNES) - Beaten!6. DuckTales (NES) - Unstarted
7.
Final Fantasy IV Advance (GBA)
- Beaten8.
Grim Fandango (PC) - Reached Year 3. Half way through?9. Panzer Dragoon Orta (XBox)
10.
Oracles of Seasons/
Oracle of Ages linked quest (GBC)
- Beaten Seasons, finished dungeon 1 on Ages linked game. So, progress update:
Super Ghouls 'n' Ghosts wasn't THAT hard, I beat it on my 4th play (ever). I probably could have beaten it on other runs too, I just didn't have the persistance. I did set the lives per continue right up to 9 though, which probably helps, but the game is definitely merely about memorising the layout of the level, then it's generally pretty easy. The two sticking points for me were level 3's platforming segment, which basically requires you memorise the timing of every single jump, taking a lot of trial and error initially, and level 7 on the 2nd run through, where I had difficulty finiding the bracelet essential for beating the game, and then keeping my armour intact through to the boss. The true final boss was laughably easy though. Overall I enjoyed it. It's cheap sometimes, but it's still quite fun to play through. I'm not sure I like the 'play it twice, sam' mechanic, but I guess it's series tradition. Certainly not as hard as other famously tricky games like Ninja Gaiden and Punch-Out (both of which I've also beaten in the last year or so).
On Resi I'm at the start of level 4-1. I finally got Ashley back in the castle, after a segment that actually felt almost like a horror game where I had to play as her without being able to attack easily, and mostly running away. I can see this is a good game, but I gotta be honest, I'm not sure it's really my thing. I'm playing it in short bursts, but I still kinda wish it was getting near the end, and I'm only just past the half way point.
I had a marathon Grim Fandango session earlier today, and finished the entirety of year 2. It certainly required a guide at some points, as I felt a few of the puzzles weren't really very fair seeming. It might have been a bit easier if the area I could explore wasnt so HUUUUUGGGEE, as it gave me too many options every time I got a new task to achieve or item to find a use for. The atmosphere is cool so far, and the characters are very likable (or unlikeable, in some villains cases), but as of now the story seems kinda lacking. I'm assuming it's gonna pick up now I'm in year 3 of 4 though.
Lastly, in Oracle of Ages, I just got started and finished up dungeon 1. There has been a few changes to the game, with a friendly ghost showing up in the graveyard to give me a secret for Seasons, and one or two references to me being the hero of Holodrum, the world in Seasons. The was also an extra scene before the game started showing:

For my purposes,
X-Men is beaten. I credit-fed through on co-op with my wife. But really, that's how I play beat-em-ups. Credit-feeding with my wife. We have a blast that way. I'm definitely still planning to try to get a 6-player co-op going though to get the full experience.
As far as my thoughts on the game: it was great. There's that certain golden age trilogy of Konami beat-em-ups with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and The Simpsons. But y'know what? This one was really impressive. I love how unique each character is; I love how expressive the sprites were; I loved the cut-scenes; loved the levels; loved just about everything. I'm really glad I finally played this one and definitely plan to keep playing it. Though that boss-rush at the end combined with Magneto... I have no idea how anyone could beat this game on less than five dollars worth of credits!

Capcom vs SNK 2 EO is done.
I don't want to say that I think the game is super-easy, but I did just 1cc through on my very first try of the game (I just selected all the mode/option defaults and let it pick random characters). It was fun, but I don't know that - at least from this quick run through - it seems as strong as some of the other Vs. games (TvC in particular is probably still my favorite).

@Dave: I feel like you get the 1CC-Fighting-Game-Blues fairly often. Maybe you should be playing on higher difficulty to get a solid chance to enjoy them more?

I'm coming in late, so I'm giving myself til the end of September. With a few other games on plate I probably won't finish the list, but I'm going to try!
I don't have a lot of classics that I haven't finished, so some of these will most likely be non-classics. But they're games I've owned for awhile and never finished, and this seems like the perfect opportunity to knock them out.
1. Rogue Galaxy
2. P.N.03
3. Alundra
4. Indigo Prophecy
5. Deadly Premonition
6. Fear Effect 1
7. Fear Effect 2
8. Incredible Crisis
9. Brave Fencer Musashi
10. Psychonauts
Okay, they did end up being classics for the most part. Now let the games begin!

cool -- a few of us are playing Indigo Prophecy for this challenge, so let's try to keep active here on our progress and maybe help each other out if need be.
