Dust: An Elysian Tail

You've got to watch the trailer video for this game because the animation is just beautiful and the gameplay looks excellent. It's only scheduled for XBox Live at the moment, which means I can't play it. :( I hope it gets ported to Steam too.

Nevertheless, it adds to my theory that games with the word "dust" in the title are the new hotness.

STASIS

This looks fantastic. It's a modernized isometric horror adventure game set in space. Watch the trailer. The graphics are so slick and the atmosphere looks like it will be chilling.

This looks great. Looks like a very fun platformer with some interesting child-rearing techniques! Best part is, it came out on the 30th. Go get it for $7.99!

(Man, what is it with me and exclamation points today, seriously.)

This looks like an amazing mix of run n gun gameplay in a metroidvania world. Definitely looking forward to this one, though it may not release until next year. The trailer is impressive if you like this kind of game (which, why wouldn't you love the love spawn of Metroid and Contra?)

I took one look at that screenshot and immediately thought "Metroid"

The trailer looked even MORE metroid-y.

Metroid + a dash of Contra... yes I like it very much.

RESET

According to their website:
"We are very proud to present the debut trailer for Reset. Everything you see in the trailer is straight from the in-game engine, no up-ressed textures, geometry or effects. What you see is what you will get. Except hopefully a little bit better since we’re not even in alpha yet. This is however a big milestone for us, and we are going to be concentrating more on the gameplay side of things next."
