Outerra Anteworld

In Anteworld, the world is yours. Literally. This is some new tech that is able to render entire virtual planets from space down to the ground level. I don't know if there is much game here, but if you want to just have a pretty virtual planet to roam around in, you can with Anteworld. There is a demo and you can currently buy into the alpha build if you want.

This looks like it will be a really fascinating first person puzzler with some psychedelic MC Escher-esque art.

This sort of reminds me of "The Unfinished Swan" http://giantsparrow.com/games/swan/

Of course not as trippy or acid based.

This is a game with a unique setting and a unique gameplay mechanic. You can jump between being a shadow on a 2D plane, or being your 3D character in the real world. The game takes place in a seedy vaudeville setting full of big band jazz, flappers, and mobsters. The trailer looks quite promising.

Octodad 2: Dadliest Catch

Image

This is the kickstarter funded sequel to the excellent and quirky game Octodad. This will continue the ridiculous storyline of the octopus that is trying to secretly pass himself off as a normal human father. The gameplay is all part of the humor as you try to waggle your tentacled appendages around without doing anything too weird that would make people suspect you might be an octopus. The original was great, and hopefully the sequel will bring some new comedic moments to the table.

Wow, Orion's coming out soon? I figured it was still a ways off.

Sir, You Are Being Hunted

Image

I love the concept of Sir, You Are Being Hunted. Gentlemanly Robots with old fashioned rifles and shotguns hunt humans for sport. It is an open world FPS that takes adventage of the development company's own tech for procedurally generated worlds (Lodestone). The release may be a ways away, but so far the game looks great.

The Bridge

Image

The Bridge has been described as a game that appears to have been made by a collaboration between MC Escher and Isaac Newton. In other worlds, it's a head-bending trippy world where gravity plays a central role in the gameplay mechanics.

Just a quick question, are all of these on computer? I have no problems if they are, but I just like to see stuff on 360 or PS3 or even Wii when possible.
