Yes since EA doesnt own companies like Bioware and DICE... They will force everyone to use Origin if it is on PC though.

How is this a bad thing? KOTR and Battlefront are among the best Star Wars games ever made.

Both of those games were by studios before EA bought and ruined them, and in Pandemic's case, closed it... Invalid examples.

Eh I would argue against Bioware being 'ruined'. They developed some of my favorite games this gen.

Note how long that section is. Disney can do a lot better than EA. I would have preferred if they gave the license out to different companies on a case-by-case basis. If it's all in the hands of one company, they have no competition and therefore have no incentive to actually put quality over quantity.

Of course they have competition. They compete against all other games being developed and released. A gamer has a set budget for games and will buy a different game if the EA game is of poor quality.

Based on games that haven't been released yet? Like the Illumiroom, you're not even giving it a chance before you knock it down.

I can't possibly trust EA, so I'm not going to deny my bias against them, I hate the company and wish it would go away. So yes, I will be very cynical and overly critical towards anything they are involved with in any way whatsoever. I believe this will merely lower the quality of star wars games further, just the same as they did with that poor excuse of an MMO, SWTOR, which was EA and Bioware.

If you want be be optimistic about EA and future star wars games, then don't let me stop you. I'll just sit in the back and gloat quietly to myself when EA proves me right about their usual poor quality and execution. :P
