Final Fantasy 7 on PC again. Now you can use real $ in game.

Final Fantasy VII Is Coming To PC… Again
"And... a character booster, which it seems will allow you to pay real money to boost your characters' stats."
-Kotaku

I don't know how I feel. I will probably get this so I can always easily play a classic in the future without a specific console.
I know that I will not pay to level up since 1)I am cheap and 2)I like mindless grinding.

Does the ability to pay for levels tick anyone off when added to a classic game?
For me it doesn't since you don't have to do it to win, but I will put an * buy anyone who claims to have only beat this new PC version.

Why would you need to buy levels when you can just use the w-item trick?

The game is piss easy even without the W-Item trick. Should have sold us an Omega Weapon to fight or something.

I don't think this is really a remake. Just the original PC version with some options for Square Enix to cash in.

It's easy to get on PC/PS1/PSN already and if you don't have a console, it's easy to emulate. If that's the only enhancement, I doubt it will be successful.

Character booster is lame. If you're going to cheat, then cheat, but don't pay for level ups. It just seems goofy.

One good thing about this though is that there will be a new, more easily accessible pc version of the game with which to use fan made mods. I've seen some pretty nice graphical upgrades for the game.

I'll probably pick it up at some point for that reason.
