You may want to have an editor as the first thing I read on your site was:
"With Joss Whedon’s Marvel Avengers Assemble still fresh in our minds, why not take a look back a game which brought Marvel’s titanic superteam to life in 16 bit form and made my personal Sega Mega Drive game collection that little bit more special?"
The expression is "on our minds", and "why not take a look back a game" should be "why not take a look back at a game". Not sure if these typos are a regular occurrence, or that I just clicked on the one review with issues.
I will say however, very clean url's, and the design of the site is welcoming.

I appreciate your balanced input. The design work is courtesy of co-founder Andrew Carreiro (@ArcadeErrorWin).
As for editing, that is a very fair critique at this point -- the good news is, starting next week, we will actually have two copy editors editing/vetting all features before they go live.
That being said, I shall go fix that "look a game" typo right now.

You are more than welcome. I always reread anything I put up on my site, and always have a friend or co-worker read it to see if I glossed over anything.
I dig the site. Looks appealing, and as I said your url's are pretty. Feel free to use me as a resource, and best of luck.
Do you have a strategy for creating an online presence, or are you guys mostly doing this for fun?

While it is fresh on my mind (that wasn't supposed to come off as being sarcastic), I would add a copyright line with 1morecatle.com on the bottom of every single page. The more you have your domain on your site, the more relevance your site will have on search engines.
If later on you plan on tackling SEO, shoot me a pm. I've had some good and bad experiences with SEO and I'm happy to provide free advice.

I will pass along that copyright note, that is an interesting SEO wrinkle I had not heard of, I admit.
Part of my issue is that I love writing but suck at seeing those details, so I do "gloss over" often and need to work on that.
I will keep you in mind.
As for online presence: Myself (NintendoLegend.com) and several of the contributors (notably Patrick Scott Patterson of PatrickScottPatterson.com and formerly Twin Galaxies, and Norman "Gaming Historian" Caruso of RetrowareTV) already have varying extents of established presence (we, of course, have some fresh new voices as well), so part of it is simply relying on collaborative strength -- I know it is difficult to pull one's self up to any sort of clout going completely solo, so it will be great just to be be able to constantly churn out high-quality content twice daily and establish strong continuity, regularity, and countless chances to cultivate sharing, culture, and community.
We are mostly doing it for fun (everyone involved is volunteering at this point), but we definitely have real ambition here. I have a modest marketing background professionally (the press release goes out tonight to 90+ recipients, social media has always been among my stronger suits as well), and Andrew does front-end website coding at his day job; frankly, he is a wizard, and part of our strategy is some unique implementations we look forward to unveiling in the future. Which means, yes, we decided to launch without all our bells and whistles in place yet, but some are rather labor-intenstive and will simply take time, and we had enough in place that we felt confident presenting the product as-is and give us room to unfold more in the future.
All of us have been joking about the "champagne problems" we'll have in the future when the site blows up and we're all making bank on it -- but, honestly, all of us set out to make the type of site we wish existed, and it's almost silly how much we dig even just reading (and, eventually, watching) each other's contributions. That being said, the long-term goal is definitely to monetize and provide our contributions with some real green-colored motivation.
... Uh, I get a little wordy on topics I'm excited about, sorry.
I hope that provided more clarity than confusion!
