Minitroid

There's a fan project of miniature Metroid game that just released a tech demo. The trailer makes it look like a fun throwback to 8-bit Metroid (actually, it looks even more primitive).

It's so weird to think rom hacking got me into emulation, like literally 10-12 years ago. Haha, I remember messing with Mededit way back then...

Anyways I had no idea these guys were actually making a game out of this, pretty neat.

Me too. I didn't know how to run Finalburn or Kawaks back in 2002 or 03. Eventually I figured how it ran. I remembered how I didn't have sound for several months on my windows 98. kawaks needed sound to run it.

NeoRAGEx was one of my early favorites.
