Master System Appearance In Modern Cartoon!

Post by lisalover1 »

Whenever you see a representation of an old game system on a cartoon, it is usually either an incomprehensible amalagation of various consoles, or just an NES. Well, I am pleased to report that finally, here in 2011, the Master System finally has its time in the spotlight:

Yeah, it first showed up in the episode "Death Punchies." I guess I'm not the only one who is guilty of watching it? Regular show makes plenty of 80's references on a "regular basis", no pun intended.
What a maneuver!

haha that's awesome. That reminds me, my wife was recently watching an old made for TV movie and the kid in it was playing a fucking Nomad! She called me to come look and she's like "what handheld is that???" it was so random. I'll have to ask her what the movie was.

This is the best show ever, you can tell retro lovers make this show.
I particularly like the episode where they play this forbidden arcade machine and a demon comes out of it and they have to stop it. Just plain awesome.

You have awakened some long-dormant memory in my brain of this movie. Does anyone know what it was? I tried to search but couldn't find out.

Also, who has watched Regular Show? It sounds kind of awesome.

Or how about the movie Enemy of the State with Will Smith where they transport that card with the video on it inside a Turbo Express? I thought that was the most random prop in a movie.
