So for launch games, have we ever done the opposite for a TR? That is, games that came out way late in a console's life. There's been times that great games are released on a console after the next gen has already been out. They often fly under the radar.

This is going to be a great TR. it will be interesting comparing the launch titles to some of each system’s later releases. Here’s what I’m thinking of playing:

Rayman (PS1)
SSX (PS2)
Geometry Wars (XBLA)
Alleyway (GB)
Psychic World (GG)
Pocket Bomberman (GBC)
Super Dodgeball Advance (GBA)
Metroid Prime Hunters - First Hunt (NDS)
Lumines (PSP)

A lot to choose from here. Any I should definitely play? Any I should definitely avoid?

Agreed. Lumines rocks. I prefer the second one, though.
