For now I've voted for Non-Violent Games and Wacky PS1/PS2. I'm still not sure whether I'd prefer Wacky PS1/PS2 or Animal Main Characters though!
For each category I have a few ideas on what I might play:
Board & Card Games Board Game Top Shop (PS1) Dokapon Kingdom (Wii) Yu-Gi-Oh (one of them ha) Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean (GC) Sugoro Quest (Famicom)
Wacky PS1/PS2 Chulip (PS2) Ape Escape games (PS1/PS2) Devil Dice (PS1) Moon RPG Remix Adventure (PS1) ChoroQ (PS2) Under the Skin (PS2) Sexy Parodius (PS1) Zombies vs. Ambulance (PS2)
Non-Violent Games Marble Mania (Wii) HM: Tree of Tranquility (Wii) Ore no Ryouri (PS1) Tori no Hoshi: Aerial Planet (PS2)
Aquanauts Holiday would also be fun but it's a bit too pricey for me right now.
Animal Main Characters The Dog Island (Wii) Finny the Fish & the Seven Waters (PS2) 102 Dalmatians: Puppies to the Rescue (PS1) Klonoa 2 (PS2) Hamtaro: Ham Hams Unite (GBC)
Unrealistic Sports Games Battle Golfer Yui (Genesis) Pangya: Fantasy Golf (PSP) Harry Potter Quidditch (PC) Mario Golf (GBC) We Ski & Snowboard (Wii) Sega Superstars Tennis (PS3) Wii Sports Resort (Wii)
I might play some other games instead, but those are just a few that I'm thinking about right now.

If you're talking about Hidden Memories on PS3, yeah it's not cheap. I recently bought an English copy for $180. I'll be honest though, it was worth every cent. That said, there's plenty of other non-violent games on PlayStation and PlayStation 2 that are very affordable. If you want some alternate diving games for example:
BTW if "Animal Main Characters" wins, you've got to play this:
I watched my daughter play through that game many years ago, it was rather hilarious.

Looks like weird/wacky PS1/PS2 is starting to lead. I'll just throw three ideas out for each:
PS1
Damn that stick! It's so irritating!
Think you could handle heavy equipment on a construction site? I DOUBT IT SUCKA
If Sonic was a girl and had to deliver newspapers.
Be a caveman and build a tower of Babylon out of bones to reach the sun.
Help a Japanese salaryman who is having a bad day.
PS2
It's time for some babies to compete in sporting events.
A giant bikini clad woman is destroying the city, you must stop her by any means necessary!
Save the day with the power of GEEETAARRRRRRR
This game lets you drive steam powered mechs, play a harmonica, and invest in the stock market. Just for starters.
Enix made a game about sexy Teletubby girls doing acid and erotically grinding against one another. Yes this is a real thing you can play.

Ah yeah, that's what I meant. Good to know that it's worth the price. I'll have to save up for it or something ha. The games you mentioned look good as well! I also could play Endless Ocean or Fishing Resort, which both have pretty chill oceany-ness.

Ah I forgot to mention that one but it does look like it could be fun. If it wins I'll look into picking it up (and if it doesn't win I'll just look into picking it up later haha).

I wasn't blown away by Fishing Resort, but both Endless Ocean games are amazing.

Just a few more days until the poll ends. Make sure to get your votes in or change around your votes before then!
Wacky PS1/PS2 Games is currently in the lead, but most of the other categories are not too far behind!

I think unrealistic sports games is going to win this one. I can feel it in my bones.
For wacky and weird, I'm thinking about possibly playing Ribbit King. I've played it a fair amount in the past, but never actually finished it. Maybe even more likely would be Umihara Kawase Shun. I've played that one a fair amount before, too, but I need to feel that rush of getting to the end again, like when I played the first one.

Approximately 24hrs left to vote! Animal Main Characters is now in the lead, but that could easily change.
I forgot to mention earlier, but in the case of a tie, I will just be selecting one randomly using random.org. That's just the quickest and easiest way to do it haha
