As it stands, I'm probably going to play Blinx the Time Sweeper. We'll see if I'm still in the mood once August hits!

Does Kirby, Ristar, or Mr. Gimmick count as an "animal"?

Yeah, I'd count them. Basically any animal or creature is fine as long as it's not a human.
