Gauntlet is pretty cool and has been put on awesome systems like the commodore 64 and the zx spectrum!

Brotha, I have it on the C64! When I was a kid we had the cabinet in our house! Love that game.

I'll use Gauntlet month to finally get through my Gauntlet Legends cabinet.

We grandpas now.

I don't know, you could be our age and have the PS2 be your favorite console. It's a good console. It's definitely in my top 5, and I'm 29. From watching his videos, I'm pretty sure it's one of Metal Jesus' favorite consoles, if not his favorite home console.

I'm starting to pick up these ahead of next year.

A few quick questions:

1. Am I right thinking the best console port of Gauntlet is on Mega Drive/Genesis?

2. Any advantage or disadvantage to playing the PSP port of Disgaea?

3. Is there a recommended port of Pacmania?

4. How's the GBA version of Breath of Fire 2 compared to SNES?

As far as ports of the original arcade game go, yes. It's pretty much the best console port of the game outside of emulated arcade compilations. The adventure mode in it is pretty cool as well and the soundtrack is killer. It's always been my opinion that it's the definitive version of the original game.

My favorite console port of the original Fantasy Zone is the Famicom one believe it or not (not the Tengen NES one).

I need to play that. I beat Sega Rally Championship this summer for the Summer Games Challenge, and I loved it. (Who knew you could squeeze so much great gameplay out of only three tracks!) If I have my Dreamcast set up by then, I will give Sega Rally 2 a shot in February.
