Wouldn't it make more sense to have games that aren't in the other poll in this one (such as Sanitarium and Fear Effect) and not include games are in the other poll (Typing of the Dead, Clock tower etc) and then see both threads and judge which 2 games had the most votes? Better yet delete the original thread so things wouldn't be so confusing.

Anyway I think Vampire Savior (Dark stalkers 3) and I have no Mouth and must scream are a great combo since neither of those genres are represented in the current TR calendar (fighting&adventure). Vampire Savior has good mechanics (played at tournaments) and I have no mouth has some interesting characters&good writing (deals with some heavy issues, based on a book, very literary game) and it's a game that doesn't get that much attention/isn't well known nowadays despite being an adventure&horror game classic, so it's perfect for TR.

My WTB thread (Sega CD/Saturn games)
Also looking to buy: Ys III (TG-16 CD), Shadowrun (Genesis) Hori N64 mini pad and Slayer (3DO) in long box/just the long box

Clock Tower is a bad idea. The original game (aka: Clock Tower The First Fear) was only released in Japan. The game known as "Clock Tower" in the US is actually the second game (in Japan) and is only available on PS1 and doesn't go for cheap.

I am not sure what's the best way. I don't think all of the games in that other thread should be listed.

I didn't see interest for Sanitarium outside of your one mention of it. Most didn't buy the argument that Fear Effect or Oddworld are Horror games. I didn't either, and it is my poll.

Next year I vote for no polls and no public discussion.

EDIT: Clock Tower gone. Revote.

Sort of related to this thread: Interview of Harlan Ellison (the author of I have no Mouth and I must scream) which was apparently recorded the same time the game was released

Damm64 nominated it (he also nominated the Clock tower series and The white chamber). I cba to go through both of the threads at the moment to see if my memory serves me correctly, but I think neither clock tower nor Stubbs were ever "+1'd", they just got nominated and that's it.

Dude, it's over. Just vote and be done. This is starting to be a really unpleasant experience.

Voted for Blood and Phantasmagoria.

But seriously, reading through all of the threads, this whole process has become ridiculous this year.

In light of that, I think this:

Just might be a really good idea.

That doesn't mean I can't ask why games other people supported aren't listed here.

You went from a thoughtful, articulate and somewhat enjoyable member to the most frustrating person on this board in the last 3 months. Chill. Read more. Post less. ...for awhile.
