Interesting. I didn't realize how old this game was - Atari 8-bit and C64 versions came out in 1983.

My local game store has the NES port, I may just have to pick it up.

Have any of you guys played Settlers of Catan? The competitive mode reminds me of something similar, though here you're attempting to outdo each other through score as opposed to points. But there is a co-op mode as well to see how high of a score you can get overall.

That i've had for 4 years and have pulled out 12 times with the intent to play, but still haven't

How the hell can't you get Settlers of Catan to the table? I played The Republic of Rome (5 Players, 8 hours, 40 page manual) last week!


I don't see many similarities between it and MULE, though. However, there's a boardgame remake of sorts called Planet Steam I want to try out.
