ExedExes wrote:To me, this game really exemplified what the Together Retro program is all about. Take games that people aren't familiar with and get them to play.

And with this, I can finally say I went from a zero to a hero in a title I would really have had absolutely no experience at all playing coming from someone with a shmup and arcade/pinball background who had the tenacity and drive to complete a game like this in 30 days. This victory is a very personal one for me and one I am extremely proud of. Thank you all for your help and sharing what you could with me here.

With that.... on to the next month and Wolf 3D! Looking forward to revisiting this old classic one again.

Nice job - I always thought the goal and competition pacing in the early THPS games was great. Back when first released, I had little interest in the genre myself, but was hooked with the game play and loved beating the first two (this was on Dreamcast).

I have THPS 1 through proving ground. I must say 2 and 3 bring back memories. the first time you could manual or the first time you can revert. Made so many things possible. I use to be addicted to the TH games. Going for a wr soon I believe
