I just feel like RE is ported to so many systems that we'll have a huge response. Plus, I haven't played it since it came out on PS1. And back then, I never beat it. So it would be fun to have an excuse to play it again and actually stick with it for a month and try to beat it finally!

Meh. Resident Evil will give me the obligation to hunt down a Saturn version. All my efforts recently have been on the Genesis. :)
I'm still not sure whether I'm a kid or a squid now.

So have we made any decisions yet? Let's get the Upcoming TR calander finalized so I can start my hunting.

Ok ok, October will be either Zombies ate my Neighbors or Resident Evil. Racket you wanna just throw down the admin vote or do you want to put it up as a poll?

November is still up in the air.

Would you mind making a poll?

okay, so for November I said Space Harrier. Because it's fucking great. BUT it IS sort of the kind of arcade explicitly mentioned to not nominate. Soooooooo... I nominate (to completely switch things up) that we play an 8bit/16bit RPQ classic. Like Final Fantasy or Dragon Quest.

and for December I nominate SSX3. Because c'mon!

We're looking for something that can be played on at least a couple popular platforms.
And we'd like something that isn't arcade-like, we'll be doing some of those before and after.

I love Zombies Ate My Neighbors, but you're missing a great opportunity. October is synonymous with playoff baseball. The Roid era even exists in games like Ken Griffey Jr. (SNES) and every NEO GEO baseball game. Plenty of games, on plenty of platforms.

Very excited for RE, never played the first one in the series. What port/version would be better? I have the consoles to pick whichever I want probably backup route for now.

Also looking forward to Broken Sword, think I will skip Crazy Taxi and try to play Snatcher this month on emulator since my sega cd died.
