Play this game! Absolutely phenomenal and deserving of a higher profile.

One of the most creative games in the NES library but its execution leaves something to be desired. The Wii remake is this concept fully realized.

I dismissed Iron Tank because of Ikari Warriors but I'm glad I gave it another chance. Its a bit long but an otherwise excellent shooter and one of SNK's better NES games.

An awful port of the arcade game and one of the system's worst games. Stay away.

Probably the second best Genesis launch title after Golden Axe. Still fairly fun after all these years despite stiff competition.

Some good ideas buried under lackluster execution. I wanted to like it but its flaws weigh it down heavily.

An improvement over the arcade game but a bit too repetitive in my opinion. There are better options if you want an NES shooter.

One of the best licensed titles for the NES and a great action game in general. I came to this one late and regret it. Still worth playing today.

Probably the best in the series and a return to form after the derivative second game. Damn shame it didn't hit the US until the GBA release but you can't go wrong with either version.

Splatterhouse 3

A significant improvement over the second game but some of the changes from the Japanese version hurt it. Still worth tracking down however.
