Note wrote:Appreciate the recommendations here! I'm a fan of Hungry Goriya and SNESDrunk as well. However, I've seen a lot more of SNESDrunk's videos than Goriya's, so I want to make an effort to watch the latter's stuff more frequently.

Two other smaller channels I'd like to recommend:

Project COE (https://youtu.be/VDBi_jhMfjU) - Awesome channel for reviews of Sega Saturn games. Also has some videos on modern games and let's play videos, but I think his archive of Saturn reviews is the best feature of the channel.

Xygor Gaming (https://www.youtube.com/@Xygor/videos) - Good channel for reviews of older RPGs! This channel also has series retrospectives and some modern stuff mixed in here and there.

I used to watch his channel years ago, Saturn reviews mostly. Seems he mostly does let's plays or some other shit I'm not interested in.

Gaming the systems is a small channel I'll check out sometimes.

Lately I've been digging Resonant Arc. I'm currently working my way through their Xenogears story analysis. I'll probably watch more of their stuff when I am done.

Pixel A Day has great analysis and she understands the medium way better than most YouTubers.

Errant Signal is still the golden standard. You should know his stuff.

Hmm, nice to find a new channel, but this fellow describes Sands of Time as "one of the best games of the sixth console generation", so I don't know if I can take him seriously. I'll still give him some extra chances, who knows!

Edit: the video on Suikoden II is full of great research!

"May your games make you happy and smart, and may people respect you for playing them."

I really like Retro Bird for retro-game-focused comedy videos.

Otherwise, I'll second Hungry Goriya and Gaming the Systems.

I really like Hungry Goriya for her interesting take on classic games, her sincerity, and her soothing voice. She is very relaxing to listen to.

I appreciate Gaming the Systems for his openness and his huge collection.

I'm not sure I've seen Sharopolis on here. His videos are very slick and informative.

My favorite European, retro-focused YouTuber with a speech impediment is Kim Justice.

I haven't watched any of her videos in a while, but I really appreciated the series "The Mega Weeviews." I haven't watched in a few years, except for a video about the controversy surrounding Top Hat Gaming Man and Lady Decade.

If you like Kim Justice and Slope's Game Room then I'd have to recommend Guru Larry.

*sniffle sniffle*

Why can't he just be kind to poor Peter Molyneux?

Basically Homeless has made some cool videos. Mostly wild PC builds. The new revision of his invisible PC is pretty sweet.
