Hey Guys! So a couple days ago I posted a video of a 12 second "review" I did... It was pretty shitty, and y'all gave it to me pretty hard.. (which I deserved)! But I'm back!

I listened to y'alls advice, and tried to make a longer, actual review video, and not just some shitty one-liner. It would mean a lot to me if anyone would actually check out my new video, and leave me some constructive feedback here!

I do these videos just as a hobby, so I'd love to try to improve them as I go along. Any advice y'all give will definitely be listened to! Here's a link to the newest video:

Also, sorry about the double post last time!! I'm new to posting here, and I was just being stupid! Thanks guys! :)

It is better than your last video, but you need to stop trying so hard to be funny, if you were not asking for feedback I would have turned any other video off at the first "joke" about who turned off the lights and again at the cat interview.

Also a small quip I have is that you are recording off an emulator with the resolution much higher than the original console. If you are reviewing a game from a console, always best to record from that console, if you are recording from a emulator at least try to match the resolution that was outputted, etc.

It was better, but really did not do much for me, there were parts that it seemed decent, when you were actually talking about the game, then you just shat on it with some lame cut away joke, sorry mate.

Its all good men! This is the tough love I need to try to get better! :) I really honestly appreciate the feedback! Maybe on my next video, I'll aim to cover even more game mechanics! Again, thanks bro!

Here are my thoughts. Colour coded for your pleasure.

- As Emwarez said, try to avoid emulation. It's really noticeable.
-This vid is 15 times longer than one of your last batch, but contains roughly the same amount of analysis.
- Do more than one take. Do several if needs be. Keep taking takes til there's no takes left to take.
- Don't talk about games everybody talks about. Who would choose to watch your vid over CGR's? Only a madman, that's who.
- Have more confidence in your line delivery. Imagine each line is a pizza and my ears are your next delivery stop. Are you getting tipped or am getting those ear pizzas for free cos you're 30 minutes late?

You're showing definite improvement and I've always got to respect a guy who can take criticism to heart without getting offended. That's the type of person who shows they're capable of doing better.

I've got to agree with doing several takes. Especially when you make a joke, even if you think you've nailed it you can always do better. Comedy is an art and unless you're one of the lucky 1% who is fantastic at spontaneous humor it takes a lot of work. Comedy requires two things, the unexpected and perfect delivery. If a joke is too obvious, try to think of another joke. Unless it's done for deliberate corniness, if the audience can guess the punchline it probably won't make them laugh.

It would also help to get an outside opinion on a video before finalizing it and posting it to Youtube. Get an opinion from some friends, hell let your friends help you come up with the jokes since a lot of the best humor is a collaborative effort.
