This is admittedly one area in which Sony's gonna Sony and screwed us over with proprietary memory format in the form of the Memory Stick Pro Duo. So the highest capacity
Sony card available is a somewhat respectable 32GB.
But this card also commands a
kingly price. There are workarounds but like most workarounds there are compromises to be made. Basically this means using a MicroSD adapter. I use
one of these in my PSP. In this fashion you can exceed 32GB of storage. I use two 32GB microSD cards in mine which nets me around 59GB of usable space. Now the theoretical maximum for PSP official firmware >= 6.60 is 256GB. Some users have
reported success with adapters of that capacity, but I've always been too chicken to try, lol (not to mention that I'm comfortable with my current setup).
The trade off with microSD adapters is that they don't support Sony's proprietary MagicGate technology. In plainspeak this means that that official Sony cards are going to support higher data transfer rates. In terms of impact, I've never noticed any difference in terms of actual game play, but I can definitely tell the difference while navigating through the XMB menu (for content stored on the card), and saving game data. For me it's a worthwhile trade off in terms of having a 'mobile game library' but it's definitely a trade off to be aware of.

Then you're tethered to the handheld & cord length versus a wireless BT controller on Android. 1 up for Android there IMO.
This is definitely a
huge benefit of an Android emulation solution!
