Quality of Emulation on the GP32X?

Post by retro_gammer79 »

I want your personal feedback. I am picky about emulation being near perfect. How good is the emulation for the GP32X? I have read the forums over at www.gp32x.com but I really want a non Bias opinion. I mainly care about, SNES, NeoGeo, CPS2, Turbografx.

I think Windows and Mac are the only platforms with quality TG-16 emulation right now. At least until someone starts porting Ootake around.

Youve got two systems there, the GP32 and the GP2x. Now the 2x is more powerful and a better system overall. Though I cherish my GP32 the best it can run is a handful of SNES/Genesis games and most NES. TG16 was even worse than SNES. Your best bet for portable TG16 is actually going to be the Tapwave Zodiac. It plays many games at fullspeed and a host of others at close. Granted others require a hard reset of the system, your call.
