How's the D-Pad on the SN30 Pro+

Post by SuperDerpBro »

I have heard good and bad things about all of 8bitdo's past D-Pads.. I really wanted to try the SN30 or SN30 Pro (no plus) but i kept hearing random things about the D-Pad not always hitting diagonals or hitting them when you do not want them to be hit.

I'm looking for an all in one wireless pad for my emulation PC. Been using a Dualshock 4, which is mostly great, but i often get my thumb stuck between gaps in the D-Pad and it doesn't always hit the diagonals as well as i'd like.

Cheers :)

EDIT: Also, are there clones of it yet?

Quite a bit cheaper than Amazon.ca but i dont want a clone :/

I have a wireless SNES pad from them, thanks to a fellow RBer, and I think the buttons and pad are just fine. Others who have used them to whom I have spoken also say good things about their controllers.

I have the 8bitdo NES30 Pro, and the D-Pad feels fine to me.

The D-pad and buttons feel great on my N30 Pro 2. I think it's the same used in the SN30.

My SN30 Pro (not plus) doesn't have a great d-pad, in my opinion, but my brother has one as well, and it seems fine, so I think it's more a manufacturing tolerance issue.
