I'm curious if you have it plugged into the wall outlet or a powerstrip?

Powerstrip. I think i might just organize all my power plugs. Computers, consoles, switches, speakers, dac, amps..... all added slowly and shared between 2 power strips and a power conditioner. I'll try to put all/most consoles on one strip and just have them all fully switched off VIA the strip when i am not playing.

Yes, but i will try again today.

wat

Not sure why this would need to be explained to anyone with reasonable intelligence. When one buys something that has a clear problem they can return or exchange it. I did this 6 times and gave up. I kept the 7th, with the same problem, because i wanted to play some fucking Xbone games online with my brother. Every single one had a fan that you could hear grinding away (sounds sort of like a high pitched IDE Laptop HDD from the early 2000s being accessed constantly) from a few feet away. Being on my desk, it is extremely annoying. Most people having them 8-15 feet away on the TV stand might never even know. Not saying ALL Xbox One S' do it.. But at least 7 do :)

It is a very common problem if you ask Google. I will be replacing the fan when the warranty runs out. I have done this on many OG Xboxs (with 80mm fans. I even did one with dual 70x10mm intake fans hidden on the side) for better cooling and on a 360 that is super old and needed replacing. Falcon model still going strong after 1000s of hours! haha

Here is one (4th or 5th) i took a video of for you to hear .. https://photos.app.goo.gl/5u3iaHvi6PLQE3yK9 (featuring old Falcon 360)

Where do i turn myself in for recording a video vertically with an iPhone?

I remember seeing those when the PS3 Slim came out and people were upset it didn't have a hard power switch like the PS3 phat did.

Something like this would also work: https://www.amazon.com/Etekcity-Househo ... ref=sr_1_3

Although if you look at the picture "Made for everyone" I don't see any gamers, so I don't know if this will work with your Xbox.

Try plugging the console directly into the wall. MS used to recommend not using a power strip with the Xbox One because the internal PSU has some form of surge protection already and they worried about the console not getting enough power, iirc.
