Guncon footpedal for time crisis?

Looking for something that will work with my ps2 for time crisis. I see the innovations PS1 foot pedal in amazon/ebay. Seems like that's more focused on being some sort of adapter as well over just being a foot pedal. If I plug it into port two will it work for time crisis reload on my ps2 with both guncon 1 and 2 games?

I'd love to find a solution for this as well.... I am about to put together a dedicated light gun station in my garage and a pedal setup would be awesome!
