480i on a PVM or 480p on HDTV for Xbox?

I'm setting up a new gaming room, and I'm debating between hooking my Xbox up to a 20" PVM or my 40" LCD set. The flat panel can take advantage of the 480p that many games allow, but I'm wondering if there are any advantages for the PVM.

PVM won't have lag. That 480p on that LCD will still be scaled and would introduce lag.

Yeah, I figured that was it though, I'll have to test it out to see if it's an issue.
