Strange Xbox variant

i have recently picked up this original Xbox halo edition.
However it does not have the "halo editon" printed on the front for whatever reason? Any ideas why?

Somebody probably put an aftermarket cloned case on it they bought from a Chinese seller off eBay years ago.

Oh I cannot take a photo with my iPad so you will just have to take my word for it.

No it has all of the proper stickers on the bottom and the translucent casing has the proper Microsoft logo on the inside
