X Box Friendship requests

by synbiosfan Sun Aug 03, 2014 3:57 pm

I get them from people a lot and I have no clue who they are. No additional message saying hey I post here or there to let me know them. A lot come from Brazil so I wonder if my name means something in Portuguese.

I've done google searches of my name but everything that comes up is related to me.

Does anyone else encounter this?

I haven't had it happen on PSN.

On Xbox, its much more common for people to add you after playing a game just because they want to have someone else who plays that game online on their friends list. I get it pretty often, but usually just ignore them.

Yep, just randoms. Pretty sure you can disable the requests if you find it too bothersome.

That's the thing, I haven't played with them online. I look at their friends list sometimes to see If a bud suggested me but there's no one in common.

You're right I can change the settings, I was just curious if it was common.

Not even in random matchmaking or some such? In that case it is a bit more weird.

All I've been playing is Borderlands 2. The latest update messed my online ability (until I erased and did another dl) so it's odd.

I look at it as spam.

It's not that I'm unfriendly or a dickhead during online play, most of the people on my friends list were met while playing.

I get em all the time from playing Call of Duty, random 10 year olds sending mass voice messages to all recent players saying their Clan is having tryouts

But that's not the worst part ninjaspandex is even better when you go to their tryouts and you wipe their ass on their floor and say to them "You ain't shit your ass belongs to me now". haha that happened when I was playing COD hardcore MP for a time before I retired lol. But after watching The new COD AW me thinks I will come out of retirement to show my hybrid skills after playing Titanfall.

TBH I don't care what people say the new COD reminds me of Titanfall and more better for me as I have fully embraced the Titanfall style of play. FYI if anyone care my Xbox GT is I AM HOMELEZZ 10 years and counting....:)
