Kenzan is very easy to get around. There are so many resources available for this game so you shouldn't really get stuck anywhere. In addition, most of the objectives are straightforward because the game guides you to your next location.

The entire game has been translated with English dubs on Youtube, so you can at least understand what is actually happening. It is a great supplement to playing the game. Here is the entire playlist:

I say go for it and enjoy. It's a good import and a cheap one at that.

If I'm having to use any kind of guide to enjoy the game, I won't enjoy it. Its just a thing for me. I like being able to understand it without an issue.
