Nice article, good job on spreading awareness of the PSP's awesomeness.

Not to be a stick in the mud, but you missed the other PC Engine Best collections. Ginga Ojousama Densetsu Collection (includes Sapphire) and Tengai Makyou Collection.

I actually was not aware of either of those. I'm actually excited to know that Sapphire was ported to PSP, though. Haha.

@CRTGAMER-Not sure if there was any curiosity towards the 360 versions Sonics UGC (*Flicky Hd RULES!!) but the following are unlockables from that version.

SEGA Master System & Arcade unlockable games:

-Golden Axe Warrior
-Phantasy Star
-Alien Syndrome
-Altered Beast
-Congo Bongo
-Fantasy Zone
-Shinobi
-Space Harrier
-Zaxxon

Plus numerous interviews, just not sure from who off the top of my head.

I suspect the PS3 unlocks are the same. Alas, no new exclusives such as the earlier Vector Arcade games in the PSP or PS2 Genesis Collections. Nice bonus to play in HD though!

@ noise - I know the GBA is Region Free, are any of the Imports in your article able to run in an unmodded UMD PSP?

all of them. The PSP is region free. I mentioned that in the article:

Luckily for PSP owners, there is no region lockout on the hardware.

Wow. The prices on some of those imports scare me away.

The Soldier Collection is pretty cheap and definitely has the best value. $30-35 for all 4 of Hudson's PCE masterpieces is a steal.

 Okay, thanks missed it, maybe you could post it in bold at the beginning of the written Article? I always thought all disc based consoles have region locking. Researching online confirmed it is just the UMD Movies that are Region locked! This is very good to know, you are killing me to spend more money! I was at Bookoff yesterday and they have a great selection of Japanese PSP games. The temptation of yet another handheld or stealing the son's PSP.

not all disc-based systems. PS3 is region free for instance.

But I don't see a reason to bold it at the beginning of the article. I assume people are going to read the entire article. I mention it's region-free the first time i mention an import.

Oh yes, definitely a steal, but personally I'd rather go for physical copies for my Core Grafx.

  Well, shoot me while I'm down!

Thanks for wiping out my Bank Account
In fairness these are my son's systems, He probably already knows about the Region Free on the PSP and PS3. I see another trip soon to Bookoff, the Japanese PSP and PS3 games are in the other aisle!
