Good article. I kept thinking, "Oh I bet he forgot this one and...no, there it is. Well what about...no, he got that one, too."
I never realized just how many Arcade games were ported to the PSP. It rivals the Wii.

Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

yeah Polterguy rules. I'm telling you PSP is gonna only gain cult status once it officially dies off.

good question. To be honest, I've played very few PSP games via component. But one of them was the Gradius collection, which looked absolutely beautiful.

And to be quite honest,I bought my (once owned) PSP only cause it can hook up to a TV.Otherwise I really dont care for Handhelds period.
With all the games I have at home I wouldnt want to go anywhere else while playing games, but in fact it is handy for traveling or blackouts.
Also one last thing why isnt there hookups like this for Nintendo handhelds?
Dont they realize a little $10 cable can sap thousands of dollars from me alone

Love the article - couple musings:
EA Replay - never knew about this title but love what they did here. Mutant League Football is even included! I think they dropped the ball by not having Coach K's College Basketball squeezed in there though
SNK Classics Vol. 0 - The arcade version of Touchdown Fever!
Gradius - would love to find this one, looks awesome
Taito Legends - seems like they made more for the consoles and left the PSP out for other comps?
I have both Capcom Collections as well as the Power Stone one and they are great. I totally forgot I have the component cables also - I need to give them a whirl this holiday.

two of my favorite gaming memories of this past year:
1) there was a Friday this past Summer where it reached over 100 degrees. I came home that night, and all we could do was stay in the bedroom since it was the only room with AC. So we brought in DVD's, magazines, snacks, etc and tried to beat the excessive heat. Thankfully I had my PSP and downloaded Rapid Angels from PSN and played through it one sitting.
2) later in the year we got a hurricane which did lead to a blackout. Knowing this was a possibility, I charged up my PSP and threw Persona 2 on it. It was really fun and creepy playing that game in the dark with headphones blasting the amazing soundtrack.

well there IS a $10 (at Gamestop) accessory that will turn your GameCube into a consolized GB/GBC/GBA.
